JAXA using World Wind

This is a quick post to show another space agency using World Wind, thanks for the heads up m_k, JAXA has an interesting post about measuring Lunar topography with their new Laser Altimeter (LALT) and Lunar Radar Sounder (LRS) on-board KAGUYA, and they are using World Wind to view the data (probably due to what_nick visiting them last year).

The data is still preliminary and needs further calibration to be compared with background NASA data using the NASA World Wind system.

Lets hope this data eventually makes its way onto public servers for viewing in World Wind by the rest of us.

The person wears a Guardians of the Galaxy T‑shirt and a cap that says “STARK” Above the photo is the GoFundMe logo, and below it the campaign title reads: “Help Daniel Replace His Failing Wheelchair and Stay Active.”
