The overall response to the World Wind Java SDK seems positive with lots of developers scrambling to get their hands dirty and start coding, here’s a selection of interesting blog posts –

Ken Russell’s Weblog has an article about the background of World Wind Java and it’s release, it is slightly biased but provides a lot of useful information.

Geertjan’s Weblog has a post showing how to create a simple ‘Hello World’ type project using the SDK.

Ludovic Champenois’s Blog is looking into making Phobos viewable in the SDK instead of Earth.
