NASA World Wind eye candy

Chris has added atmospheric light scattering to SVN, and boy it looks gorgeous, click on any of the thumbnails for a full size image, no opyrights so feel free to share them. I also got carried away and uploaded two videos to You tube, Himalayan sunrise and Himalayan sunset, enjoy. Oh I better mention this is very beta and Chris is still working out all the kinks.

A hell of a lot at the moment, at times I’m getting 100% cpu usage on both my cores (pent D 3ghz) but Chris is intending to move a lot of it off the cpu to the gpu, his main problem is most of the online examples are for opengl and c++ not c# and directx, but he’s getting there :).

gorgeous. a bit more haze towards the horizon might help.

Collage of photos, fireworks, sunset behind some neolithic stones, an old photo of a man with a large moustache, Karen David with Daniel Baker dressed as a knight, a red panda in a tree
