Wales. A sheep with thick white wool stands on a grassy hill, facing the camera. Behind it, a valley with scattered buildings stretches toward misty hills under an overcast sky, blending rural life with sweeping natural scenery.
January
Malvern Hills. A circular stone marker with a metal top stands on a square pedestal, overlooking a vast countryside of fields and trees. A small metal sign is attached to the marker. The scene is captured in black and white, with a partly cloudy sky adding depth to the panoramic view.
June
Croome. A tranquil pond reflects soft sunlight beneath a partly cloudy sky. Leafless trees and grassy banks frame the water, suggesting early spring or late autumn in a peaceful natural setting.
March
Barry Island. A wide sandy beach curves gently toward grassy dunes under a mostly clear sky. A few people walk along the shoreline, while a tall sculpture stands alone in the shallow water, adding scale and focus to the serene scene.
July
West Wycombe. A domed classical pavilion with columns stands on a small island in the middle of a calm lake. In the foreground, a weathered wooden structure with metal fittings hints at an old dock or water mechanism. The lake reflects the temple and surrounding green trees beneath a clear sky with wispy clouds.
April
Caerphilly Castle. A medieval stone castle with cylindrical towers and thick walls stands beside a calm body of water. Birds glide across the surface, which reflects the weathered structure and surrounding greenery. The clear blue sky adds to the tranquil, picturesque scene.
September
Museum in the Park. A grand stone building with tall windows, chimneys, and a symmetrical façade stands under a partly cloudy sky. Outdoor seating with umbrellas and signs—including one reading “OPEN”—suggests it’s a café or restaurant. Flowering plants and greenery frame the entrance, blending historic charm with modern hospitality.
May
Trentham Monkey Forest. Two macaques sit on a wooden log in a grassy area scattered with autumn leaves. A juvenile clings gently to the back of an adult, whose head is lowered and eyes closed, capturing a quiet moment of comfort and connection in nature.
