On Friday night I heard a weird squeaking sound, I figured it was just my cat playing, after a couple more squeaks I thought it was time to investigate, it turned out she had caught a tiny mouse, probably a wood mouse. We put it in an old fish tank with some hay, water and some chinchilla food, expecting it would die during the night from shock, amazingly she survived, and of course I had to name her /me is a sucker for small critters. I decided to wait until this morning to check with the local vet about letting her go, really hoping he would say it was ok to keep her, of course he said it would be cruel, so tonight she was released in the local park.
