Getting the old facebook back

Argghhh the new facebook design sux0rs, the sidebars just don’t feel right on the other side, I wouldn’t mind if they had added some customisation settings, anyway I found a solution to return to the old design on the group –

Everyone keeps complaining about the new facebook and quite frankly, I was complaining too. You would think that they would make it more user friendly, well instead it wasn’t. It was terrible and I’m sure there are plenty of people that would agree with me. Well after doing some research there is a way to go back to the old facebook. It worked for me, and I am 100% sure that it will work for you too. This is what you have to do:

How to Go Back to the Old Facebook (:
Facebook Group

first add this application
http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2345053339

then click this
http://apps.new.facebook.com/?fbnew_opt_out=1

It works, I’m slightly concerned about secuity, but then again joining any facebook app is giving the author access to all your data, so meh.

Edit : Various methods including the one above have now been blocked by facebook, the one that still seems to work for me is https://www.facebook.com/home.php

  1. WOW! It really does work! Thanks dude! I really appreciate it! I really wasn’t liking the new facebook! Any idea how long I’ll be able to keep the old one with this method?!

  2. Dana

I downloaded that application but then it said that I didn’t have any applications so I couldn’t find the one that says facebook opt out.

  3. It looks like facebook are blocking every new method as they find them, currently this link gives me the old facebook https://www.facebook.com/home.php

  4. Sorry Bull, but I’m on the other side. The new facebook is less cluttered, and you don’t have to scroll through miles of ridiculous applications that people have added to get to their walls…

The person wears a Guardians of the Galaxy T‑shirt and a cap that says “STARK” Above the photo is the GoFundMe logo, and below it the campaign title reads: “Help Daniel Replace His Failing Wheelchair and Stay Active.”
